Buying a home starts with a clear plan.
Know your budget, compare loan programs and get a pre-approval you can shop with. We’ll help from your first questions to closing.
How we help buyers
Understand your budget
We’ll look at income, debts, savings and credit together, then show what a comfortable price range and monthly payment might look like, including property taxes, insurance and any mortgage insurance.
Compare programs side by side
Many buyers compare conventional, FHA and, if eligible, VA loans. If you’re self-employed or buying a rental property, there may be other options to consider.
Get pre-approved
A pre-approval is based on the documents you provide and an initial review. It helps you make offers with confidence. It isn’t final loan approval, which comes after underwriting reviews your full file and the property.
Stay on track to closing
We coordinate with your real estate agent, title or escrow team and the lender so you know what’s needed and when.
What to have ready
- Recent pay stubs or other income records
- W-2s or tax returns (some self-employed programs use bank statements instead)
- Recent bank and asset statements
- A government-issued photo ID
- For VA loans, your Certificate of Eligibility if you have it (we can help request one)
Keep sensitive documents secure
Please don’t email Social Security numbers, tax returns or bank statements. When you’re ready, start a secure application and upload documents there.
